Last week, we unveiled one of the most ambitious enhancements to Please Share yet - Dynamic Incentives, a novel feature aimed at motivating employees to share company content and increase social media engagement and reach.
Companies that harness the potential of employee advocacy understand the power of leveraging team members to promote and disseminate approved messages. However, just like in various aspects of life, employees sometimes require a gentle push to stay motivated. This is where Dynamic Incentives come into play.
Why Use Dynamic Incentives
Dynamic Incentives are designed to amplify internal interest, awareness, and participation. They empower companies to design and implement programs that reward employees for actively participating in employee advocacy initiatives, such as promoting and engaging with company content on social media platforms like LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
Increased participation translates into a wider reach and greater engagement with company content and messages, resulting in enhanced web traffic, leads, and conversions. For instance, one of our customers who ran one of the initial Dynamic Incentives campaigns achieved remarkable results - a 273% increase in employees sharing LinkedIn content, a 275% boost in URL clicks, and a staggering 737% expansion in the reach of their social media posts.
As a native Slack app, Please Share allows company employees to interact with company share or engagement requests within designated Slack channels. They can easily share company content or engage with company posts without interrupting their workflows. Posts are automatically updated across their social media accounts, eliminating the need to switch to LinkedIn or X (Twitter) to promote company messages.
Three Campaign Types
Please Share currently offers three types of Dynamic Incentives campaigns, each tailored to motivate team members in slightly different ways:
- Onboarding: This campaign offers a small incentive to encourage teammates to authenticate their LinkedIn and/or X (Twitter) accounts directly through Please Share and engage with company posts. For example, companies can offer a one-time $5.00 incentive to everyone who authenticates their social media accounts through Please Share.
- Top Performers: This campaign rewards the top 3 (or more) people in your company who share and/or engage over a set period of time (e.g., 2-4 weeks). For instance, 1st Place could receive $100.00, 2nd Place may get $75.00, and 3rd Place might be awarded $50.00.
- Random Winners: This campaign encourages teammates to share and engage with company posts throughout the campaign's duration by randomly awarding prizes to individuals once a basic participation threshold is met. As an example, a company may offer ten $25.00 awards to randomly selected team members.
Dynamic Incentives integrate seamlessly with a company's existing employee advocacy initiatives through the Please Share service. Depending on the campaign type, employees may receive rewards instantly, within a few minutes, or at the end of the campaign period. Within the menu of any Please Share request sent to Slack, employees can access details about live campaigns, information on their reward balance, and redeem their rewards.
In our upcoming blog posts, we will delve into more details about Dynamic Incentives. If you'd like to learn more now, visit or reach out to us at support@pleaseshare.com.
Quick Disclaimer
One last thing to note: Dynamic Incentives are designed to be a fun way to boost internal awareness of a company's employee advocacy initiatives and encourage overall employee participation. None of the campaigns provided by Please Share reward employees for explicit actions taken on social media channels. In other words, these campaigns cannot be used to pay employees for sharing or engaging with specific posts on LinkedIn or X (Twitter).
